There is no product. There is no roadmap. There is no waiting list to join, no whitepaper to download, and — refreshingly — no series A to misrepresent. The button above does precisely nothing, and will continue to do nothing until something worth doing presents itself.
What there is, is a name; a tagline; and the modest pleasure of having got there first.
closeai.uk was acquired earlier today. The tagline arrived shortly afterwards. The opinion, regarding the present state of openness in artificial intelligence, has been some time in the forming.
No model, no API, no investors, no board, no safety team to resign in protest, and no plans of any commercial seriousness whatever. We mention this in the interest of candour, which is itself in short supply in this corner of the industry.
